Gary had failing implants and dentures. He could not wear them due to terrible denture sores and a bad gag reflex. He was losing all hope in his life. He was on antidepressants and anxiety medications and didn’t want to leave his house. There was one time when his dentures flew out of his mouth while sneezing at the grocery store. He was so embarrassed and ashamed.
He went to five other dentists who said they could not help him—his case was too hard or impossible. He found Dr. Lampee, and in one surgery we were able to give Gary back his life. No more antidepressants, no more anxiety medications. He wants to live. He has completely transformed his life with his new Teeth in 24 implants.
His case was very challenging, but that is what Dr. Lampee does on a daily basis. Most of his lower jawbone had resorbed, but we were able to get in four perfect implants on the lower.
On his top, he had almost no bone. We had to place pterygoid implants where his wisdom teeth used to be. We had to place zygomatic implants in his cheekbones. We had to place nasal floor implants in the floor of his nose. We then had to do an implant called an incisive canal implant (there is a bony hole behind where the two top front teeth used to be, and we were able to squeeze an implant in there).
I have had nothing but fantastic service at Dr. Lampee's. Dr. Lampee remembers who I am, remembers details not only about my dental record, but also about conversations we've had before. I went in with 11 cavities to fix, and he did them all within a week. When I broke a tooth last summer, he made time for an emergency root canal and got me patched up within 24 hours of the broken tooth. Dr. Lampee has customers for life.
The quality of service is beyond wonderful. The staff have always been so warm and caring every time I needed to come in. They took extra care in understanding my needs on each appointment. They never made me, or my family, feel uncomfortable or nervous about any visit. In fact, I look forward to seeing them each time. I went in a while back to get a cavity filled in my far right crown and I told Dr lampee about my phobia about needles and people working on my teeth and he was extra gental while doing it. And I would highly recommend Dr. Lampee and the staff at beaverton smile center
I've been going to Dr. Lampee for over a year now. He listens to my concerns and is very thorough. His staff is attentive and welcoming. Plus his is always the first birthday card I get! I highly recommended Dr Lampee if you are looking for a new dentist!
I am much like most when it comes to a dentist visit. I get nervous and embarrassed of the condition of my teeth. The thought of going to the dentist brings thoughts of pain and an embarrassing examination. I get so much anxiety, I rarely see the same dentist twice. At the Smile Center I was received with such a friendly welcoming, that I immediately relaxed. Dr. Lampee and all of his staff have such friendly, courteous, and professional personas that I look forward to my dentist visits. Dr. Lampee is the gentlest dentist that has stuck a needle in my mouth; I don't even tense up when I see the needle. The next day I don't have sore spots on my gums, where the needle went in, and Dr. Lampee personally called me after hours, on the weekend several times, to make sure that I was doing well. I am in my mid-forties and I had horrible teeth. I was afraid that Dr. Lampee would try to talk me into the expensive route of saving my teeth. After my first examination, Dr. Lampee explained all of my choices and the cost, allowing me my countless questions. I decided on replacing my teeth with dentures. Dentists do not benefit in the long run with dentures, and I was afraid he would try talking me out of them, like countless other dentists have. Instead I was given information and even encouragement that it was the proper course of action for me. If you are needing a gentle dentist and enjoy being recognized and welcomed each visit, I strongly suggest the Smile Center. My teeth now look wonderful, I have my confidence back, and I no longer experience pain. The only regret is that I will not need to go back and visit the awesomeest, grooviest staff for quite some time. I may sound like an advertisement, but I assure you that I am not. I am not being paid to write this, nor am I receiving any other compensations. Finding personable professionals are very hard and I feel they should be encouraged when found. I haven't even had an "official" appointment at Beaverton Smile Center with Dr. Lampee and I'm already floored with how well I've been treated. From questions to concerns, the staff at Beaverton Smile Center is exceptional to say the least. I have a severe fear of the dentist from past experiences and I know that when my appointment comes to fruition I will be guided by the knowledgeable staff. Thank you Dr. Lampee for your accommodating and friendly service from beginning to end!

Best Dentist Experience EVER. I am a fairly new patient to Dr. Lampee's office. I was super nervous about starting with yet another dentist as I have had some really negative experiences in the past. Dr. Lampee treated me like a human being, he actually talked to me and spent time understanding my issues and concerns. I have suffered for over 10 years with TMJ and never had a dentist take me serious, for the first time I was referred for the right treatment and FINALLY I am starting to feel better. I feel really blessed to have met Dr. Lampee, he will definitely have a life long client with me and my family.
Never thought a dental office could feel safe and comfortable before. When I finally came in after months of putting it off, I was actually trembling with terror. Dr Lampee was not bothered by my defensive and fearful stance and was able to walk me through the visit. I went home with a plan and prescription to return a couple days later, and that visit went so well, even though I had a lot of work done, that I am now less fearful of dentist offices. He is a very laid back and down to earth person and his staff are very reassuring and comforting. Jack (The dog) is also very good at relaxing a person by falling asleep while you rub his belly. I am still not comfortable going to other dental offices, but I will return to see Dr Lampee and his staff. I had been very embarrassed about my teeth, but I am gaining confidence knowing Dr Lampee is able to take someone as terrified as I am, and confidently restore my dental health and keep my anxiety under check.
Dr. Lampee and his staff are true professionals and incredibly friendly. They went out of their way to expedite my dental needs (as I was moving to a new city). Not only did they do a fantastic job, they made sure to follow up and make sure I was happy with the work (which I absolutely am)! As someone who has spent an unfortunate amount of time at the dentist all through child/adulthood - the Beaverton Smile Center is undoubtedly the best experience I've had. While going to the dentist is never fun, it's great going to a place with such a friendly staff. I absolutely recommend Dr. Lampee and co. Thanks for everything!
