Gary had failing implants and dentures. He could not wear them due to terrible denture sores and a bad gag reflex. He was losing all hope in his life. He was on antidepressants and anxiety medications and didn’t want to leave his house. There was one time when his dentures flew out of his mouth while sneezing at the grocery store. He was so embarrassed and ashamed.
He went to five other dentists who said they could not help him—his case was too hard or impossible. He found Dr. Lampee, and in one surgery we were able to give Gary back his life. No more antidepressants, no more anxiety medications. He wants to live. He has completely transformed his life with his new Teeth in 24 implants.
His case was very challenging, but that is what Dr. Lampee does on a daily basis. Most of his lower jawbone had resorbed, but we were able to get in four perfect implants on the lower.
On his top, he had almost no bone. We had to place pterygoid implants where his wisdom teeth used to be. We had to place zygomatic implants in his cheekbones. We had to place nasal floor implants in the floor of his nose. We then had to do an implant called an incisive canal implant (there is a bony hole behind where the two top front teeth used to be, and we were able to squeeze an implant in there).
Took away my decades old fear of dental work. Totally explained all the work needed, arranged a plan where I could get it done in phases and made sure each session was relaxed and not stressful. Absolutely the best, and I have had a lot of work over my 61 years of living. Paul L. Aloha, OR
Dr. Lampee is quick and efficient. You will never spend more than a minute or two waiting in the dentist chair to see the doctor. I had 3 fillings done and I was in and out of there in 40 minutes. He gives you options rather than pushing unnecessary procedures. Best dentist ever!
Without question the best dental experience I've ever had. From the moment I called in and spoke with Lisa, to the handling of my insurance with Jenn, to my first cleaning with Kristen and my xrays with Makenzie I was made to feel totally comfortable and at ease and was welcomed with open arms. My oral health was in bad shape, I had failing and missing teeth and was embarrassed - Dr. Lampee assured me he'd get me back in shape. He has listened to me - to my concerns and needs - and has been upfront and honest and included me in the decision making process. Seriously...if your looking for a dentist, I HIGHLY recommend Sleep Dentistry Defined. I have a lot of work that needs to be and...no joke....I actually look forward to going to the dentist.....and you will too!!!
Life story short- I get anxious at the dentist and have my share of horror stories from drill anxiety and pain. This dentist, hygienist, and office staff have changed my entire outlook on "going to the dentist". These guys are down- to- earth gems. We've never had any problems, have felt comfortable and have always felt like our words are both listened to and respected. Highly recommended! I was not paid, reimbursed, or asked to review. I just really appreciate them and the lack of anxiety I (finally) feel in making and going to my appointments.
Thus far, my experiences and dealings with Dr. Lampee and his staff have been well above par! It's quite exhilarating to have happened upon such a personable, caring lot! I look forward to my next appointment with joy rather than the trepidation that is usually associated with (dun dun duuunnnnn) the dentist.
I've been to Dr. Lampee multiple times, once on short notice emergency needs. He's always happy, friendly and does excellent work. My root canal was a completely painless and professional experience. He is up to date on latest technology and equipment. [Update 12/2/2014] - Just recently had another unscheduled visit. Dr. Lampee was able to get me in and performed excellent work in a timely manner.
I've been going to Beaverton Smile Center since we moved to Oregon in 2007. I have always dreaded going to the dentist, but his ad seemed nice and I decided to give him a try. I absolutely lucked out!! He is awesome. He and his staff go out of their way to make you feel at ease. He uses advanced technologies and consistently keeps himself at the front of the pack when it comes to various options and types of dentistry. He is empathetic to people who are phobic about dentists and his whole practice is about eliminating fears and giving you the best treatment for your needs. I won't be going to anyone else.
Fantastic experience! When I woke up, Dr. Lampee had completed both a root canal and placement of the crown for a broken tooth. Best experience I have ever had for dental work. Dr. Lampee is my go-to man for any future dental needs!
I have been a patient of Dr. Lampee since November 2013. I truly regret not finding him sooner! The quality of care and services is outstanding. He is a highly professional and knowledgeable person that cares about his patients and treats them as a family member. I had extensive dental work done to include an implant and root canal. When I first visited Dr. Lampee's office I presented my long history of dental issues that I certain point become overwhelming. Obviously no one LOVES going to a dentist - but most of us need to go a lot! I'm a typical, dentists do what they have to and I can handle it person - so Dr. Lampee's expertise and gentle manner along with a great staff were just a big plus for me all the way around. However, my husband, Jerry (hunter, fisherman, football player, etc.), does NOT do dentists, even with a teddy bear, so after 46 years of marriage you can't imagine how wonderful it was to find someone that could not only 'handle' him but get major work accomplished! He had cleanings, fillings, bridges, root canals, the works - and doesn't remember any of it being a problem!!! Last time he had an abscess a few years ago it had to be done at the ER room - and no one was too pleased about it. We have recommended Dr. Lampee to anyone that will listen!
